Having recently harvested maize, it all has to be threshed though, unlike past times when done by hand, use is made of a mechanical threshing machine to make light work of it. The corn can then be stored in our silos until required. The final stage is milling to convert to flour for use in the kitchens. Meanwhile the children, as in Biblical times, celebrate the occasion with singing to God!
