We took with us children’s clothes, crocs, blankets, dolls, teddy bears, toys, games, books, stationery, artist paints and brushes, tooth brushes, and craft activities for the children.
During the latest trip to FOP UG, we were able to work alongside local staff, completing many different tasks successfully. These included picking nuts, construction of two chicken coops, guttering at two family homes, painting at Rwenjaza Hillside School, and painting murals at two family homes. We also participated in crafts with the children and a sports afternoon at the school and also with the FOP children at the weekend. A highlight was to spend a time of fellowship and prayer at the men's meeting and separately with each of the mothers, as well as spending time with the babies and children in the family homes.
We also visited the school and were treated to a performance by the FOP choir. Please click this link to visit our gallery to see a number of photos of the different activities during our time at FOP in Uganda.
We now have 89 children at FOP. If you wish to help with the work of caring for the children, please click on the Donate Now button at the top or bottom of this page.
