We are so privileged to be in a position to provide a home for these little boys. Whilst the hugely positive impact of "Mothers Matter in Childbirth" continues, having seen over 1200 mums safely through their deliveries without a single loss of life, the fact remains that there are still far too many tragic events in the still unreached areas of Kyenjojo District in Western Uganda. Mothers still very avoidably die in childbirth, tiny infants being left often in the care of elderly relatives who simply cannot cope for various reasons.
We are so thankful to God for the care provided at FOP which exists to provide hope for the hopeless for the remainder of their lives. Psalm 68 v 5 says "A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy dwelling." We are so blessed to be His co-workers in this sad world.
