We are pleased to announce another new arrival at Fountain of Peace Children's Foundation, a boy aged 2 years 8 months, taking the total number of children in our care to 96.

The desperate need for resources to provide help for the helpless in other countries was highlighted to us this week by a true account of a family of 6, headed by the oldest child at just 15 years of age, the youngest Emmanuel being just 2 years 8 months. So sadly their Mum passed away last year and their Dad abandoned the whole family in an unfinished temporary shelter with no kitchen or toilet facility, no food or money provision, and no hope of medical assistance or education for any of them. Emmanuel himself shows clear signs of malnutrition and delayed developmental milestones. At his age, he is only able to crawl and stand but cannot walk. Due to his critical nutritional and medical needs, Probation and Social Welfare Officer recommended that Emmanuel be placed under alternative care at Bethel Babies Home, under the Fountain of Peace Children’s Foundation, while support is mobilised to assist the remaining siblings within their home environment.

Psalm 10 v14 says that “God is the helper of the fatherless”; we are His hands and feet in this world today, and the challenge is never greater than right now.

Please pray for Emmanuel (pictured right) and all the children under our care and consider whether you feel able to support this work, providing financial resource for the likes of this little boy. We have so much to be thankful for, but others have less than nothing. If you are able, please click on the Donate Now button at the top or bottom of this page.

Below are pictures of 3 of our families at Fountain of Peace, children blessed by your generosity and given hope for the future.
